Delete your account

This page explains how account deletion works for Al Madina Al Monawara School, what is removed, and what we must keep.

How to request deletion

In the mobile app: open Profile → Delete account, confirm your password, and follow the prompts.
On the web: sign in to the account area, then confirm on the deletion page.
By email: if you cannot sign in, write to hello@example.com from the address on your account and we will process the request.

Removed

Your name, contact details, and login credentials
Your profile photo and uploaded files
Registered devices and push-notification tokens
Your in-app notifications
Complaints and suggestions you submitted

Retained

Financial and payment transaction records, as required by tax and audit law — unlinked from your identity where possible
School academic and safeguarding records that the school is legally required to keep
Aggregated statistics that do not identify you

Timeline

Your account is deactivated immediately. It then enters a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel using the link in the confirmation email. After 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised and the account cannot be recovered.

Guardians and students

Deleting a guardian account removes the guardian's personal data but does not delete the linked students' school records. To remove or transfer a student's records, contact the school at hello@example.com. Student accounts do not have an email address, so a student deletion cannot be cancelled by a self-service link — contact the school within the grace period if you change your mind.
